Two people kidnap an infant boy at gunpoint from his stroller and the mother put up a fight. A man and woman have been arrested in Georgia after allegedly snatching a one-year-old boy. The mother struggled to save her son while being held at gunpoint.

Mateo Alejandro Montufar-Barrera was abducted in Chamblee around noon on Saturday. The incident occurred while his mother pushed him in a stroller on Clairview Drive, police said.
An Amber Alert was issued for the little boy, who was found safe by police about five hours later.
The suspects have been identified as Maynor Dario Valera Zuniga and Kristin Nicole Valera Zuniga. The pair are being held in Carroll County, the AJC reported.
Two people snatch baby boy from mother
Initial reports had identified the suspects as two men.
Police said the pair pulled up to the mom and child in a maroon 2003 Acura MDX before a man exited the car and held a gun at her hip.
When the suspect, described as Hispanic in his mid-20s, attempted to take her son, the mom managed to grab his weapon and tried to shoot him but the gun didn’t go off, according to police.
Photos of the man’s clothing were released by the FBI on social media as they asked anyone with information to come forward.
The second suspect later exited the car and took the boy before they both took off in their vehicle towards the I-85, authorities said.
The Georgia State Patrol later located the suspects’ car in Carroll County around 5pm, police said.
Mateo was found unharmed and was reunited with his mother.

The boy’s mother, who was not named, is working with detectives from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation which has taken over the case.
It is unclear if the suspects were known to the mom and child.
One of the suspects was described as between 28 and 32 years old and about 5ft 5in tall. He was wearing plaid shorts and a red or pink hat, police said.
