Three Thin Blue Line Motorcycle Club members killed in accident

Three Thin Blue Line Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club members were killed in an accident in Kerr County. Kerr county Sheriff Rusty Hierholzer stated the motorcyclists were riding in a group on Highway 16 between Kerrville and Medina around 5 PM. The Sheriff revealed the motorcycle riders were hit when a driver crossed lanes and ran into the group. Three motorcyclists were killed and 9 others were injured.

Officials identified the driver as Ivan Robles Navejas. According to the Sheriff, Navejas is charged with DWI, multiple counts of intoxication manslaughter and other counts of intoxication assault.

The Kerr County Sheriff’s Office posted a statement on Twitter about the accident. They wrote, “Please keep our brothers with the Thin Blue Line Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club in your prayers. They were on a ride in the Texas Hill Country, and were on highway 16 south of Kerrville, when another person crossed the center stripe. The ride was in celebration of the club’s birthday when the accident occurred. There were three fatalities and 9 members taken to the hospital in critical condition. The person that crossed the center stripe has been arrested for several counts of intoxicated manslaughter and intoxication assault. The Kerr County Sheriff’s Office prays for all their families and friends.

The Thin Blue Line Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club announced in a press release that the victims were members of the club. According to sources the group was celebrating the club’s birthday when the brutal accident occurred.
