A new Suicide Squad game is in the works from Batman Arkham mater Rocksteady. The creators will reveal more at the DC FanDome event in August. The game is currently in development with Rocksteady and a full announcement is coming in two weeks.
The studio released a teaser in a movie poster style tweet on Friday. The poster shows Superman in a cross with the super-villain squad. According to Rocksteady, more information will be shared on Aug. 22. Also Read– Fall Guys servers are struggling
Earlier this summer, rumours had it that a new Suicide Squad game was in the works. Users on ResetEra discovered a couple domains registered to Rocksteady that referenced Suicide Squad. On the other hand Eurogamer teased a game based on Gotham Knights, made by WB Montreal, would be released at DC FanDome.
The latest game released by Rocksteady was 2015’s Batman: Arkham Knight, the widely acclaimed finale to the Batman Arkham series that started in 2009.
Suicide Squad Sequel
Furthermore, Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn is directing a Suicide Squad sequel, to premiere in August 2021. That film will also be showcased at DC FanDome.
