Marge Simpson fires back at Trump Adviser after she insults Kamala Harris. The cartoon matriarch wasn’t too happy about the Trump Adviser’s comments.
That’s her reaction after Trump campaign senior legal adviser Jenna Ellis tried to use her to insult Democratic vice presidential hopeful Kamala Harris.
Ellis tweeted that “Kamala sounds like Marge Simpson,” and soon came under fire from various Twitter users defending the cartoon character as “reliable, competent and moralistic.”
Additionally, the tweet by President Donald Trump’s associate which prompted Marge Simpson to fire back came after Joe Biden’s statement. The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden announced that Harris, the junior senator from California, would be his running mate in the 2020 election.
Marge Simpson fires back at Trump Adviser Jenna Ellis in YouTube video
Marge did shoot back via a YouTube video released Friday.
“I usually don’t get into politics, but the president’s senior adviser Jenna Ellis just said Kamala Harris sounds like me! Lisa says she doesn’t mean it as a compliment,” Simpson said in the 27-second clip.
Then Marge further referenced a recently panned tweet from the president by referring to herself “as an ordinary suburban housewife” and told Ellis: “I’m starting to feel a little disrespected. I teach my children not to name-call, Jenna…”
Finally the video ends with Marge Simpson showcasing just how bothered she was by Ellis’ comments.
“I was going to say I’m pissed off, but I’m afraid they’d bleep it,” she said.
