Prince Harry Windsor and wife Meghan Markle have been nothing short of a fairy-tale couple on social media and television, however, there are reasons to wonder if that is really the case. The Fairy-tale story started when Harry proposed to Meghan, then televised their nuptials, and later, the birth of their son Archie in May 2019.
The couple seems to be living in a fantasy however, here are some reasons as to why there is trouble on the horizon for the pair.
The warning of Prince Charles to Harry
Meghan Markle has faced a lot of criticism from the royal family due to her background as an American actress. In an article from The Times, Harry’s grandfather warned him of marrying an actress. He said, “One steps out with actresses, one doesn’t marry them.” Within the royal family, it is looked down upon a loyalty to marry a commoner.
The brothers, Harry and William, separated over Meghan
The feud between the brothers started when Harry got engaged to Meghan in 2017 and felt William wasn’t doing his part in making her feel welcomed in the family. Prince William believed Meghan had a real hold on Harry making him propose to her just after 16 months of meeting her.
Prince William himself had known Kate Middleton for over 10 years before proposing.

He argued that Harry did not know Meghan’s background well enough nor her intentions in regards to the relationship. Harry did not respond well to William’s criticism of the relationship. He later confirmed the feud between the brothers.
“Inevitably stuff happens. But we’re brothers, we’ll always be brothers. We’re certainly on different paths at the moment. I’ll always be there for him and as I know, he’ll always be there for me. We don’t see each other as much as we used to because we’re so busy but I love him dearly,” Harry said. “The majority of stuff is created out of nothing. As brothers, we have good days and we have bad days.”
Harry and Meghan won’t be spending Christmas with the royal family
Harry and Meghan released that they will not be spending Christmas as usual in Sandringham with the royal family. Instead, the pair will be spending Christmas with Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland.
Buckingham Palace released a statement regarding the matter. “This decision is in line with the precedent set previously by other members of the Royal Family, and has the support of Her Majesty The Queen.”
